These are pretty good. Too bad they have changed this product. Before (one year ago) there was no white mesh in the pouch area. Now, they have changed it and added the white mesh area.
I don't like that, because I usually don't like white underwear, but I guess the comfort is good so I will have to compromise on that. The ones I purchased last year were all of the same color (black) with not mesh white part.
I bought one size larger than pant size. Use these for workouts and more. Right fit for me.
These trunk underwear are very comfortable and have a perfect fit. Material is light and thin that breaths well on hot days. These stay in place and dont ride up. I recommend them to anyone.
My 4 pairs of Large David Archy underwear came rolled up in the box in the upper left of the attached picture. Unfolded, the unwashed original size of the underwear is represented by the pair below the box on the left. I wore the the two pairs on the right on alternate days with normal cotton Jocky-Haines-Perry Ellis underwear briefs, and it was quite a contrast because the rayon (made from bamboo plant cellulose) is extremely soft. The soft fabric plus lack of tags and carefully sewn seams, made it more comfortable during the day and FAR more pleasant to sleep in compared to normal white cotton mens underwear. he left. The 2 pairs on the right were washed, and dried, and there seems to be a slight bit of shrinkageI did NOT deduct any stars for that because the original sizing seemed a bit large in my opinion. So these underwear are pricey but very soft and well-made, so especially if you sleep in your underwear you might consider this brand of briefs.
For the past several years I've used the DA Ultra-soft brief when I exercise. I run about 5 miles 6 days a week. Prior to that, I experienced chafing and discomfort. I tried several different types of briefs. The DA brief fits perfectly, stays cool, wicks moisture, and is very comfortable. I also use the DAs under my board shorts when swimming and it dries very fast.
I really dont care for the flashy bamboo marketing term in any modern products. Its quite overly touted for its health benefits.
However, after almost 20 months of using these briefs on a daily basis, they still feel like new. They are truly lightweight and comfortable to be in. Best part of it is that they are very durable. I did not expect that, particularly with material like bamboo.
What I like
- Very comfortable
- Very durable
- Great fitting
What can improve
- Not really anything I could find. I paid $27 the first time in 2019 and now its $16.50 in 2020. Thats much cheaper than what I paid.
Overall, David Archy has a winner formula in making great mens underwear. Just keep up with great work and Ill continue to be your customer.
