This is for the bamboo tank tops - haven’t tried the cotton. I’m a skinny guy in the area between Medium and Small - usually with bamboo clothing I’ve found that Medium is very baggy (though fine to wear inside) and Small is tighter than I like. I measured my chest according to their size chart, ordered Medium and it was right on! These are incredibly comfortable. I wear them in the house and would wear them under dress shirts if I were still going to the office versus working at home all the time. They washed well and after drying were just as comfortable as when I took them out of the package. (Note - I always air dry bamboo clothing because it’s pretty quick, saves energy, and is better for the fabric - I do this for all brands). Anyhow, I’m a fan and will be getting more!
My husband loves all his David Archy Bamboo undershirts and underpants They are soft and cool during the hot humid Florida summers. He has plenty of cotton undershirts, but he keeps using the bamboo ones instead. When we get into cooler weather around winter, he then prefers the cotton and silk undershirts because they keep him more warm. But he LOVES the bamboo clothing through most of the year. He also wears bamboo socks now through most of the year because of their softness and coolness on the feet. Some people complain that bamboo takes a long time to dry, but I haven't found it to be too much of a problem. I usually hang underwear and socks on the dryer rack in the garage. They all dry overnight. Sometimes it may take a little longer, but it really hasn't been a problem for me. I just leave them there a little longer like half the day more. David Archy packages their product super nicely and delivers very quickly. Highly recommend all their clothing and have been slowly building up my husband's closet with only David Archy clothing.
Honestly don’t usually post reviews, but these tank tops were exactly what I was looking for. They’re silky smooth, stretchy, and feel amazing. Perfect length and fit. Perfect summer shirts. I got a small, i’m 6’2 185lbs
I’m definitely on the lean side and it hugs my skin a good amount but not to the point it looks ridiculous/try hard. Would recommend a larger size if you’re on the heavier spectrum
I love these undershirts! They feel great on and don't get too hot when I wear a shirt over one. The armholes are deep enough to not snag or pull my armpit hair. The knitting type also prevents my chest hairs from threading through the fabric and getting pulled like regular cotton ribbed tank undershirts do. If the neck wasn't scooped so low I would wear them as a regular tank top. I wear medium shirts and purchased medium size in these and they fit perfectly. I'm thinking of ditching my old cotton tanks and replacing them with more of these.
This shirt did fit as expected--I'm neither skinny nor overweight, the shirt fits pretty much skin-tight, but the bamboo rayon is comfortable. The undershirts appear well-made, and have a low enough neckline that they don't show through my Hawaiian shirt collars.
Rayon is a bit strange....in hot weather, I can't say it feels cool, but it doesn't get quite as warm as cotton, and is vastly superior to any synthetic fabric I'm aware of.
I've bought this one package and may well buy more, I'm a happy customer.
---Update--OK, I bought another package. Now I have 6 of these. We're going to be traveling, and I will comment that these are easy to hand-wash, and dry quickly. What's not to like?
Lights, stretchy, breathable. Makes a great undershirt to go under polo or button up shirts to keep cool at work. Very happy with the purchase of this product and will probably order another set, and will consider buying other products from this manufacturer.
Sizing: I am 5'10 about 210 Lbs with a broad, athletic build (46 chest, 33-34 waist). I usually wear XL, but ordered Large since I intend to use them as under shirts in place of the usual "A-shirt" that is ribbed and often itchy regardless of who makes it. There is ample room and stretch in the Large for my frame.
