Material of sleeping pants

I had bought a two pairs of sleeping shorts for my husband and he loves them. So I decided to buy two pants too but they weren't the same material. So I was a little bummed. I thought they would be made of the same soft material. He says the shorts feel like he has nothing on and they are so comfy.
